Once you are given the appointment for the surgery, pre operative preparation and precaution.
- You will be given antibiotic drops to put for three days prior to surgery
- Do take through bath hair wash and face wash especially around face
- One can have light breakfast if your surgery is under Local Anaesthesia. This will be explained to you by councellor.
- If you are under treatment for any aliment do mention it to the doctor and do take opinion of your treating doctor for any changes in medicines
- Do take your regular medicines at prescribed time like for diabetis or blood pressure unless you are going for general anesthesia where you are not supposed to take anything orally even fluids at least four hours before surgery
- Do not forget to carry your old and new medical records with you while going to hospital
- Intimate your doctor if you develop any health problem while waiting for surgical date
The day of surgery
You will be admitted to the hospital early in the morning around 7 am. Do not forget to inform hospital in case you are getting late due to any reason. Written consent for necessary anesthesia will be confirmed once you get admitted.
